Proposal Guidelines

Presentation Proposal Deadline: November 14, 2008

The Conference Program Committee will select proposals that fit with the conference goals and values, and that offer new insights to the field on working with men who batter.

 

The following items must be explicity addressed for a proposal submission to be considered. Please use the Online Proposal Form. For a hard copy form please contact Deena Anders or 612.874.7063 x222.

 

Online Proposal Form Guidelines

A. Session Topic Area: The presentation topic must convey the basic theme of the presentation. Session topics may fall into but are not limited to the topical areas that are listed on the Online Proposal Form.

 

B. Intended Audience: Proposals should indicate which audience segment would be most interested in your presentation.

 

C. Session Format:

• Single Presentation - Lecture based presentation delivered by one presenter.
• Shared Presentation - Lecture based presentation delivered by two or more presenters.
• Panel - Presentation that encourages interaction and discussion between the panelists and attendees.
• Other - Presentation that is not based on traditional lecture or panel format. i.e. interactive, multi-media, etc.

D. Session Length: Presentations must be a minimum of 90 minutes.
